BIOGRAPHY
Catia Massa,
is an Italian painter who lives in Barcelona, Spain.
She embraced painting since she was a child, inspired by a deep and pure passion for color, she began to mark her path as a painter.
As Catia dove into the research of color, she found herself immersed in creation that has produced a rich and eclectic body of work made with oils on canvas and paper, ranging from figurative to abstract paintings.
Catia is also an artist member of the Spanish Foundation "Fundación de Arte Matilde Tamayo" and Wall Spot Barcelona, an association of artists and she paints with acrylic colors.
She also paints on clothing and has an exclusive original line of hand painted Ties and Bow Ties.
In addition, Catia also donates and exhibits her work for charity, with organizations such as ART BRA AUSTIN that collaborates with Breast Cancer Research and MANGIA LE PRUGNE a charity auction for Cystic Fibrosis Research.
Her works have been shown in New York, Miami, London, Paris, Los Angeles, Innsbruck, Barcelona and Milan.
Catia currently exhibits her creations in Europe and the United States.
